HISTORY

Chellur Sree Anthimahakalan Kavu is a temple located 2 km from Moodal between Valanchery and Kuttipuram in Malappuram district. Anthimahakalan, a variant of Lord Shiva, and Karabhagavathy are the main deities of the temple. It is believed that this is the root temple of all other Anthimahakalan Kavus in Kerala. This temple of the Kollodi Tharavad is now under the Bhagavathy Temple Samrakshana Trust.
